Mikell McGinnis Driscoll, 89 years old died on March 24, 2025 in Tampa, FL.
She was previously from Southern Pines, NC and Morganton, NC.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael McGinnis; mother, Irene McGinnis; brother, Ronald McGinnis; husband, William Driscoll; and son, Timothy Driscoll.
Mikell was a homemaker and mother of four children. While raising her children, she worked in retail and was manager/owner of Hallie's Dress and Gift Shop in Â鶹´«Ã½. After her children were grown she moved to Banner Elk, NC and held many positions at Blue Ridge Village. She then moved to Southern Pines where she worked in several boutique shops and was active in the community.
She will be remembered by family and friends as being a kind, beautiful lady and faithful friend. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Attal, Elizabeth Driscoll Smith, and Katherine Leilani DeForest. She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held May 3rd at 11 a.m., St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Cemetery in Southern Pines.
Memorials may be made to Hospice or The American Heart Association.
