Meet these pets of the week at Burke County Animal Services.
Cali: This sweet lady is about 2 years old and spayed. She does well with other animals and loves to be cuddled and get lots of pets. She would love any place that would allow her a couch and some cuddles.
Chief: This sweet guy is about 2-3 years old and neutered. He is a little shy at first but is doing so much better with cuddles and even some headbutts. He is doing well around other animals and would love a patient family who will allow him to warm up and become the light of your life.
Lemon Drop: This lady is our longest resident and is currently a Business Buddy with HiTone Fitness/Canal Coffee. She is about 2-3 years old and spayed. She loves other dogs but does not do well with cats. She needs a home where she can play and run out her energy because she is an energetic and athletic lady. Please come meet her or contact her business buddy.
Kanye: This guy is a longer resident at our shelter and is also in the Business Buddy Program. His business buddy is the Powers Realty Group. He is the sweetest guy and is about 2 years old and neutered. He does great around other animals and wants nothing more than to snuggle in your lap or kiss you. Please come meet this sweet guy or contact his business buddy.
All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter, and dogs will be heartworm tested.
Animal Services is in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
Those in need of pet food can stop by Animal Services and fill out a one-time informational form and let them know what you need.
