A Valdese man and woman were charged with drug trafficking after deputies seized multiple drugs, including fentanyl, and three guns from a residence on Leger Road.
Emily Jane Clawson, 32, and Nicholas Eugene Bollinger, 33, are each charged with felony trafficking in opium/heroin, felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of cocaine, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Deputies executed a search warrant at 3716 Leger Road in Valdese on Friday. The deputies seized multiple firearms, fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine from the residence, the sheriff’s office said.
One of the guns seized from the residence was reported stolen, the sheriff’s office said.
Clawson and Bollinger are being held without bond on the charges. Clawson and Bollinger are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
