Meet these pets of the week at Burke County Animal Services.
Matthew: Our Business Buddy with Silver Creek Golf Club. This sweet guy is about 4-5 years old and neutered. He is the perfect specimen of a dog. He does good with all things, including animals and children. He has done fantastic hanging out at his business as well, and does great in their offices.
Bowie: Our Business Buddy with All the Dogs Grooming and Training. This guy is about 5-6 months old and neutered. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up very quickly and loves other animals. He is doing great when he hangs out at his business, but would love a forever home.
Hydrangea: This sweetheart is about 5 months old and spayed. She is an absolute doll baby who would love nothing more than to cuddle with you and be held by you. She is doing well around other animals and loves to play with them as well.
Kracken: This gentlemen is about 2 years old and neutered. He is so sweet and loves anything to do with pets and headbutts. He seems to do well around other animals. He would love a couch to lay on and a lap to cuddle in.
All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter, and dogs will be heartworm tested.
Animal Services is in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
Those in need of pet food can stop by Animal Services and fill out a one-time informational form and let them know what you need.
